Martha's Balloon Ride (John Porter, 1982, 6 minutes, silent)

John mounted his camera, running at one frame per second, on the outer edge of a hot air balloon in which John was riding. The camera pointed down, viewing the distant ground passing by, and the edge of the balloon's passenger gondola. It was shot over two different flights a year apart, charted by John's friend Martha Davis who was shooting her own super 8 film from the gondola.
